KemperSports, manager of The Crossings at Carlsbad, today announced Jeff Perry as general manager of the city of Carlsbad’s championship golf course, located in northern San Diego County approximately 30 minutes from downtown San Diego. Over the next several months, Perry will be tasked with preparing the Southern California facility for a summer debut and will oversee daily operations upon opening.

City of Carlsbad Officially Names Its New World-Class Golf Destination – The Crossings at Carlsbad
The City Council of Carlsbad, voted to approve “The Crossings at Carlsbad” as the official name of its championship-caliber golf course being constructed along the north side of Palomar Airport Road and Hidden Valley Road. The project took more than 17 years to receive state and federal approvals since it lies within the state’s coastal zone and is surrounded by federally protected habitat.

City of Carlsbad, CA, Selects KemperSports as Manager of Upscale Golf Course to Open in 2007
The City Council of Carlsbad, Calif., has announced its selection of KemperSports as operator of its first public golf facility, currently under construction. The Northbrook, Ill.-based company was previously retained to provide construction supervision and pre-opening marketing services. KemperSports will assume management of facility operations upon opening in July 2007.
