Katherine Marren directs a dynamic instruction program, offering a unique menu of learning experiences to all levels of golfers. The Golf Academy programs include the best and most current technologies for teaching and club-fitting available in the golf industry.

Recently named as "2008 Teacher of the Year" by the Northern California PGA Section, Marren brings a distinguished level of expertise to the Quail Lodge Golf Academy. She has been recognized as an expert teacher and for promoting and growing the game of golf, by Golf for Women, Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, The San Francisco Examiner, The California Golf Guide and the AT&T Junior Golf Association.

Well-known for de-mystifying the golf swing using innovative and effective teaching methods, Marren's students love her relaxed manner, clear teaching style, patience and genuine care for them and their improvement.

Head Golf Professional: Ross Kroeker 
Ross Kroeker has been the Director of Instruction at Harding Park Golf Course since 2003. He is also the owner of an indoor teaching and physical training facility in San Rafael, California. Kroeker taught nationally for the Nicklaus/Flick Golf School and was a lead instructor for ESPN Golf Schools.

Kroeker has 20 plus years of experience helping golfers of all ages and ability. Using an uncomplicated approach, proven technique and advanced technology, Kroeker helps his students improve with sustained results. Recognized as an expert in video analysis, he is one of ten instructors in the nation to provide analysis for The Golf Digest Challenge. His videos have also been featured on PGA.com and golfdigest.com.

Kroeker has been a Class A Member of the PGA since 1992 and achieved Advanced Certified PGA Instructor status in 2007.
