Annual CanAm Tournament
Sunday, March 3rd, was a day that the Americans were eagerly awaiting as the Canadians had bested them the last two years. Even though the sky was overcast, the air was warm and the breeze was light. And, try as they might to retain their title, a three-peat wasn't in the cards for the Canadians. Team USA edged out Team Canada with a 24-21.5 win!

This week's trivia question:

Name the golf course, and the country it is located in that is the background picture of the March calendar displayed in the lobby.

Be the first to respond with the correct answer for a complimentary lunch! Email your answers to: Good luck!

Congratulations to Jim Dolan, who was the first to answer to last week's question correctly:

During which years was golf banned in Scotland, and why?
The answer is: 1457 - 1502 because King James II wanted to ensure his citizens were focusing on fighting skills, such as archery, in preparation for the English invasion.

Show some love for your course and join us for a divot party on Thursday, March 7th at 4:00pm.  We will meet in the staging area to do a little course maintenance with the help of a complimentary pony keg!

The Dan Campbell Golf Academy specializes in junior golf! We currently work with over 20 junior golfers between teh ages of 8-18 within our three junior programs.

  • The Junior Elite Program (JEP) is a comprehensive year-round coaching program designed to help high school golfers achieve a college scholarship.
  • The Future Elite Program (FEP) is for kids aged 8-13 who are beginners or for kids who already play in tournaments. The FEP meets on a weekly basis with instruction covering all areas of the game.
  • Our third junior program is the Freedom Academy North school team that meets every Saturday for six weeks. We are currently in Session 2 of the school program and it is structured how the FEP is structured.

If you have a son or daughter who is interested in getting started in the game, aspires to play on their high school team, or who may need the extra help reaching the next level, please contact Darren or Austin about enrolling your child in one of our existing programs, or creating a specific program to tailor to your child's needs.
