Golf Tip from Eric Driessen, Director of Instruction at Interbay Golf Center.
Three keys to help your chipping
1. Slow down your backswing: When the backswing gets too quick, the weight of the club is hard to control and will hinder your ability to smoothly accelerate during the downswing.
2. Keep your chest moving through the shot: When the chest stops at impact your hands will keep moving and cause you to flip your wrists at contact causing chunking or topping.
3. Follow through Low: Keep the head of the club down on the follow through. Your club will lift the ball.
