Clubhouse Construction Update

Jefferson Park’s new clubhouse construction has hit a snag in the process and now we are looking at a delay in opening. The original opening date of March 1 has been pushed back to the beginning of May. While most of the clubhouse is complete, some problems arose concerning some mechanical equipment in the restaurant which has led to the delay. The problems are getting worked out, and everything else has been completed. The City of Seattle and Premier Golf are excited for the opening and look forward to offering this fabulous new facility to the public. With a new driving range tee structure, new restaurant, banquet facilities, teaching center and pro shop, Jefferson Park is shaping up to be the best golf center in the city.

Postponing the opening to early May actually may turn out to be fortuitous in that it will coincide with Jefferson’s 100 year anniversary occurring on May 12, 2015. It will allow us to combine the new clubhouse opening with the golf course centennial into one grand celebration. While plans are only preliminary, they will include a ribbon cutting, a golf tournament, golf clinics, contests and a party. Numerous local dignitaries and individuals will be invited to what should be a truly significant event for Seattle.
