Latest News Joe Richer Junior Golf Club The Players in Training (new players & those too young to be on the golf courses unsupervised). This group receives weekly one hour golf clinics or supervised and coached play on our practice area and practice par 3 course with the goal of learning the game and etiquette and moving to our Players Club. The Players Club receives a weekly clinic followed by 18 hole competition play on our 18 hole golf courses with the goal of improving golf games and getting competitive experience. It is a great training and practice experience for those playing high school golfer or looking to play high school golf in the future. We have a 9 hole Player Club group for those just moving up from the Players in Training. Cost for the program is just $35 for the season. Welcome Food and Beverage Manager Karlin Wike Legion Memorial Golf Course is pleased to welcome our new food & beverage manager Karlin Wike. She replaces Kate Johansen who held the position for the last 7 years and with recently having a baby had decided not to return to a full time position as our food and beverage manager. We thank Kate for all she did in improving and growing our food and beverage business and wish her the best! We are excited to have found Karlin, who brings a strong background in food and beverage service and management to us. She has worked her way up through the food and beverage industry at restaurants in Seattle and Bellevue from lounge server, restaurant server, expediter, hostess, to shift manager. She also spent a summer assisting the wedding and banquet manager at a high end resort in North Central Washington. Most recently she was the night manager at Joey Kitchen in Seattle. We believe Karlin and her management and service experience combined with our recently added new cook, Lynanne Rovito gives us a strong team to continue to improve our dining experience for golf patrons as well as to move us forward in growing our banquet business.
