The first round of the 89th Snohomish County Amateur will be held at Walter E. Hall Golf Course on Saturday, May 25th. Legion Memorial Golf Course will not be in the rotation again this year due to possibility that the stormwater course construction that requires Legion to be playing 3 temporary greens, will not be complete before the event is held. The Snohomish Country Amateur is the Premier Men’s Amateur Event in Snohomish County. It is a 54-hole Individual Stroke Play Competition. Three (18) hole rounds played over 3 days, May 25, 26 & 27th. Round 2 will be played at Harbour Pointe and the final round at Everett Golf and Country Club The Snohomish County Amateur is limited to Amateur Golfers who are in good standing of a Snohomish County Men’s Golf Club with an active GHIN Number and Handicap Index. No exceptions will be made to this entry condition including players requesting to compete in Flight 1 as a scratch handicap. 18.0 is the maximum handicap index; Handicaps as of May 15, 2019 will be used for the duration of the tournament. The tournament is limited to the first 120 players to sign up with 3 men’s divisions as well as a Senior (age 55 plus) division and a Junior ( high school senior and younger) division.
